I need a set of front seat covers for my 74 cuda, this is the next most expensive item that I need to purchase for my restore. At over 400 bucks, I was wondering about other seat covers?

For the quality, workmanship, and fit, there is no other, IMOP. In the long run, you'll be happier with Legendary. There are some companies that are vendors for them and offer a discount. Check out Dantes or Classic Industries.

seats take a lot of abuse, I wouldn't want to skimp on them

Thanks, after posting here, I did a search and found that Dante's had a lot of thumbs up. I called there and turns out he is about an hour away, so I can save some shipping on the covers plus some other items at his store. Sounds like a good guy too.

I have to agree...Legendary for sure. $400.00???.....I have to think that is chicken feed compared to the aggravation caused by some other products.. Do it right...knuckle down and go Legendary.

Plus I think Legendary has a lifetime warranty on covers.

Legendary also has the best customer support.
They've worked with me so many times on getting interiors correct. Even using my old '68 roadrunner seat covers as patterns 25 years ago... (labor)covering the seats plus shipping and not charging me a dime..

Legendary made my "halloween" or "jack-o-latern" seat covers over 24+ years ago. In fact, I sent the old covers to them to be made. They still look GREAT after all these years. There is no subsitute.

You can try my friend Chris McMahon in NY state as he is a true mopar guy and typically makes covers cheaper than Legendary! http://onlineupholsteryandmore.com/

Very nice custom covers and can make very close covers to originals as well. Tell him Brian from NJ referred you and he should take care of you. Been a friend of mine since I got my charger over 13 years ago!

Since the question is, less expensive than Legendary... I used pg classic covers in my challenger. I bought them from a private seller that didn't use them. So I saved another $100. Fit was good, not perfect, but I didn't replace the foam. Legendary are more correct and would probably out last the pg covers, but for the price for my cheap driver, they were just what I wanted. My car is no show car, so correctness wasn't a factor.

Those PG covers are pretty much the same a PUI might even be the same.I've used the PUI on some GM stuff, the vinyl is thin but for the money they aren't horrible. They don't compare to to the quality of Legendary.
