Is the windshield moulding interchangeable for these years '67-'76 ? Mine is a 2 dr. Dart, post car. I could not find an answer in the archives, just a few guesses. Thanks.

I have two rolls that are supposed to be ebough for front and back. I kept my old plastic ones once I buffed them and used Mothers' Plastix they clean up good. If interested let me know. I paid 135.00 for the 2 rolls and will sell much cheaper.

Thank you for your offer. I want to replace the plastic trim with stainless. I remember reading a post which stated the interchange years and I thought the '67 thru '76 would use the same moulding.

At least for the Barracuda the 67 used a windshield gasket that accepted a chromed plastic lock strip (rear window too). In 68 the gasket does not use a lock strip and there is stainless trim that covers about 1/2 the gasket that snaps into clips that are attached to the body in the gasket channel (same for the rear window.

I pulled the stainless trim from a 73ish Swinger to use on my 68 Barracuda.

For some reason i have held the belief that the 4dr/2dr post cars were different than the 2dr hard tops. The Duster/Demon/Dart Sport are different for sure, the windshield is a whole differnt shape.

I'll be dipped. Year one lists their Dart replacement windshield as a fit for '67 thru '76 ?? I saw the same claim made from a vendor selling the windshield gasket. Obviously I don't know or I would not take up your time asking the question. I can't see a reason for the hardtop seal being different from a post car. I finally have the $ to buy the parts, I just need to order the CORRECT parts. Thank you.

67-69 Cuda and Dart use the same windshield, and the stainless trim interchanges as well.

2-door post (sedan) windshield is the same as a 4-door as is the trim. Of course the 67 trim is unique as well as the gaskets. 2-door hardtop and convertible are alike. You cannot interchange hardtop and sedan!
