I figured this was a great place to start asking about the Gen 111 Hemi I am big fan of the GenIII hemi but if you are looking for a daily driver i would just do a 5.7 stroker "392" I myself have the alum block already and the 6.4 heads for my challenger, however the block was $4200 plus another 1300 for the heads, You can get a whole 5.7 with the computer and drive acc. for that price or less and build a stroker from the 5.7/392 can make a easily 500+hp with the stock block and heads

A couple fellows on another site showed a 470 B engine with aluminum topend no headers and full of oil weighing 517lbs and a 5.7 eagle with no acc or oil weighing 512 lbs. Mopar to the bone!!!

Ya thats why i went the Alum block route, but if you not building the jeep to race the a 392 stroker on a daily driver 100 pounds is not mgoing to make much of a difference, If only mother mopar had a factory alum block mass produce for have the cost say around 2k

Huge torque and driveability for a little bit more than the block alone. If you want to do it, buy the alum block. We all understand lol.
