In case you have not noticed, there are people cutting up a lot of old cars and trucks to make furniture, 4x4s, rat rods, and customs out of.

Fortunately, most of the furniture parts are from vehicles that the ends that were used were about the only thing that was salvageable, but occasionally even those guys find the perfect body and hack them up.

I have a 24 Chrysler grill shell hanging on my shop wall. It is a rusty beast with lots of bondo in the corners and a spray bomb paint job. It looks great hanging on the wall, but would be pretty useless as a car part. Still, every once and a while someone comments about such a waste of a nice grill shell. I used to respond, but they wouldn't let the facts interfere with what they thought I should be doing with the grill shell. These days, I just tell them I love it hanging right where its at, but for enough money I might consider parting with it. No one has even asked the price yet and its been hanging there 12 years.

Point is, you have no idea what facts surround that bar. It was his car, truck, parts or creation, that took his money to make it into what it is. It doesn't matter what you think. I'm sure through the years, you have done something with an old Mopar I wouldn't have approved of, but it was yours to do with it as you wanted. Gene
