My new combo should make my converter stall at about 4400 rpm so where should the motor make its maximum torque? My converter is a 9.5 inch 904 trans w/low ist gear and the converter is fairly tight.

Based on the 4400 number you should make peak torque
at 4100-4200 rpm... at least most conv shops say this
