Years ago when they were drivers We had a few come in.IIRC you had to buy the assembly to fix them.Its been probaley 25 years since Ive done one.Rocky

if you have a good part, then you could buy a home urethane casting kit

use the good part to make a rubber mold, then cast urethane copies. if you don't want to do it yourself, there's a number of prototype shops out there in the world that would do it for a price....
another option would be again to go to a prototype shop with a 3D printer (SLS, SLA, or FDM) and they should be able to do a 3D scan of your part to digitize it and then "print" out copies....
durability might not be as good as the original, but it's better than nothing.

Uh, there's more to it than just a plastic piece.
Now, I've not had the time to pursue it now, but I have been in touch w/a vendor who might, just might make them, $75-$100 per.
He would rather have some pre-orders before producing some. It's odd, all the folks who need this piece, when you offer it up, find all kinds of reasons to not pay the $100 for it, but will pay way over that for a 30+ year old NOS piece that will come to the same fate, much sooner it seems too.

We've had some experience with this kind of deal before, and they don't have a great track record for working out, I'm sorry to say.
I think a lot of folks are understandably hesitant to send money for a part that may never be produced.
The other problem is the apparent variety of these things. Which one(s) to reproduce?
