The guy i sold my 70 Duster to, about 3 years ago now, got it out for the first time this year and sent me the details, as we still converse quite a bit. After looking at the results, i told him he should trailer it out from Jersey later this year and run it at the Indy event. He told me, " why, if i bring it out there you may want to buy it back from me" Yep, i just might at that. Dont know if he was teasing or if he was serious, but sure got me to missing the old gal    Anyhow, this pass was with 86 jets in the carb( i always ran 88 or 90 per the carb instructions Patrick issued with the carb when i bought it,and the motor is stouter now), and with old 275 radials and steel cop wheels.....leaving off the footbrake. 60' 1.366 330.....3.94 1/8...6.128 mph...111.73 1000' 8.039 et....9.666 mph....138.37

Nice. I sold my Daytona to Eric Shelton around '92 who had the thing running 7's. I think someone on here either has the car or knows who does. Yeah, I wish I had that car back.

Glad to see my old car still has a Job!!   Perhaps I can swap him my new car? Im certain with the new 440 set up it will run 9.90's.  Will be ready in the next 2 weeks for a test run on the new driveline!!
