i have a 1968 dodge coronet with standard dash, my problem is with the lower dash pad, the dash pad is in excellent condition, however a mouse has chewed a small hole on the lower pad right above the switch panel, the top layer of the pad is chewed off down to the sponge, only the size of a penny , can this be fixed? and how can i fix with the pad still in the car?

I have used shoe goop (glue made for rubber and plastic shoes)and it has come out great. Fill the hole with the shoe goop (sold at ace 5.00) put electrical tape over the glue to hold the glue straight. Re dye with duplicolor vinyl paint.
