I noticed when I open radiator
cap, I heard a pop as if there was a air pocket.
What could be causing this, I have a cap that holds up to 11 LBS. Its an R5P7 motor, no electric water
pump, water circulates when i have cap off

Just pressure from air/coolant expanding from the heat or if you're moving coolant into a puke tank then a vacuum when it cools but I took it to mean you're checking it when hot so just normal psi buildup. Not a problem
