Where do you find these? I'd prefer to buy a spool of it if possible. I'm working on my truck and a 72 Duster. It looks like they use the same 1'4" round strip.
www.carpartsdiscount.com lists a 17/64" strip for a 75 Dodge W200 for less that $4. Yeah, it sounds too cheap to be the right price. I'd just call and order 10 of them if I knew that they were the same as the Duster style.

I found mine on eBay several years back. They even still have the chrome lock strip if you have need for that .

I had a truck with the optional chrome windshield trim. But chose not to replace it and instead used the standard lock strip.

I didn't like the way the chrome trim had yellowed with age.

Yeah... The guy I usually use was zero help. I got the feeling that he wasn't willing to sell any because it would mean losing business of a labor install.

I have a new in the bag chrome lock strip from my rubber kit.

I used the round black lock strip over the chrome.

I can scratch it out of the shed if you want it.

Very gracious of you, Scratchy. Chrome style may be better served on a truck with a higher trim level, though. I need to use the plain rubber one though since the truck is now painted like a "Macho Power Wagon". The chrome and stainless trim was removed for the bare bones look.

I got mine (black rubber) for $15 at Speedy auto glass. They sell a tool that can install that strip in seconds (I think I got mine from Snap-on or Mac)
