I spoke to an Edelbrock engine builder at The MATS and he said they were making some changes to the Victor Heads, especially the push rod problems..

Chris..

Be nice of they fixed some of the F-ups they made to the bare casting when changed to heart shaped chamber.

They messed up the port shapes so badly in the new revisions. Need to go back to the older port, heart shaped chamber and fix push rod clearance issues.

The head worked well with the old port, now they need a bunch of porting to flow any kind of decent numbers.
