Helping an estate sell some 74 GTO's and have an old Stock Eliminator car that is part of it. It says on the fender NHRA National Record Holder 91, 92, 93, 94, 95 and Duttweiller Automotive on the door. If anybody has any issues from that era could you try to find this car in the records? Believe it was driven by Tim Imhoff out of the LA area and is a 1974 Pontiac GTO. It was probably M/S or M/SA, somewhere around there. Thanks!

Just found out the estate has the NHRA record sheet, should be getting it tomorrow and will find out what class it ran.

Wish I could help you, but I take all my old ND issues to the monthly club meetings and share them with the members. I keep trying to stir up the competitive juices in the club members. There are a few that are racers still and one of the regulars actually has a Wally from years back. Freddy brought it to a show-and-tell and entertained us all with his story

Ken Duttweiler is in Ventura County, still active, and more than a little legendary. I'd think he could provide info on the car.
There are a couple of people selling old ND issues on Ebay, one is looking for some from the '70s with my car in it.

Talked to a lady at Duttweiler Performance yesterday and said Tim Imhoff raced the car and Ken didn't really have anything to do with it. Been trying to find Tim's phone number but haven't had much luck.

M/S on 9/23/94 shows Tim Imhoff Sun City west , Az. in the Duttweiller car.
Same for 9/30 , 10/7 , 12/9
The record of 12.34 was set in March of 94 and the last 1995 Digger I have is Feb. 24th , where the record still stands.
The car is listed as Duttweiler's , Borla Mufflers , MT tires 74 GTO

Just found out it has a 9.3 Pontiac rear end, for those who know Stock Eliminator well would that be a legal rear end for M/S? It is a corporate rear.

According to the Classracer thread the engine and rear are not legal for Stock.

Bill Rink has both and would part with them.

Made a mistake about the rear end, it is a Pontiac rear and IS legal in Stock Eliminator. Have tried to post on the class racer forum but it won't let me sign up. The rear is a 9.3 Pontiac rear end with the drop out center, used from 1957-1964 so it is a corporate rear and legal.
