Nuther funny one.. Nobody that works for Mopar, at any capacity, can profit off of Mopar. "people" overheard someone saying Belinda worked for Chrysler. I think he's at Ford. I actually don't like rumors.

Drag racing is seeing a slow death, in some cases faster in some areas than others,
Bigger tracks leaving out the regular local racers for the attraction of large events to attract spectators.
High prices, slow sponsorships, little spectators, fewer racers.
Insurance, taxes, maintance cost,
All the recipes.

Well NHRA is putting money in to NTR right now.. they are putting down some new concrete to fix some of the bad spots. there will be a new 80 foot patch about 330 to 410 feet.

Hello Frito, NTR has been my home track since the day it opened, and I still have the Chrysler Powered Willys that we raced there the first year. Am I tight with NTR? Well , I chose the track to hold my event at and I am spending a lot of money promoting my race which inturns promotes the track as well. While at Indy this weekend, me and my crew were wearing sweatshirts promoting my event and a lot of people were reading them. We were like walking sign boards, and it's just funny that we had never heard anything like what we were hearing except at Indy. I did not know the 3 people that came up to me and spoke about it, and next time I will make sure we are on name to name basis. By the way, we need more Mopars in the winners circles at my event on June 22-23,2013 at NTR. BE THERRRE.

Usually when someone starts a rumor it for personal benifit.They want to either bring attention for their agenda or try to deminish their opponent just as we see in politics.And just like in the political arena it'a just another form of "mud slinging". Just look at the content of the rumor,who's involved and their motive and anyone can draw a educated conclusion. We all applaud Larry,Jeff,Josh and others that put on various Mopar events but let each stand on it's own merits. Rumors deserve no consideration unless there is substancial facts to warrant reasearch to either prove or disprove them.We must not let BS muck up our sport like politics have hurt our great country. Like any good story the background is important,but to pass on the story from unknown or unreliable sources is just to create drama.

I believe they are doing the moster mopar weekend stuff now..
Not to start another rumor, but from my understanding these 2 things:
There is a "Mega Mopar Action Series" that is now being held in St. Louis. Rug was pulled out from Josh and MMW at the last second last year after he worked hard to bring MMW back to Gateway. http://www.gatewaymsp.com/ai1ec_event/monster-mopar-weekend/?instance_id=1211
I believe I read that the Mopar Nationals said no other Mopar only races can be held there.
