I know that it's been done, but what is the best way and the best product to use for changing a whitewall tire to a redline tire?
Thanks
KID

I've been thinking about this too. Would red vinyl dye work?

I've been told to use shoe leather dye.
I've never used it so,,, no idea if it works or not

Go to a motorcycle shop I think some still sell the markers just for tires in a couple colors.

Or Ebay

Allen Here's a novel idea, let's not throw a bunch of parts at the car hoping it will fix the problem and instead spend a little time diagnosing it first. Life was a little easier when I was just a wrench.

Duplicolor sells markers made for use on tires. I think they have them in white, yellow, red and maybe a couple other colors.

Red permanent looks perfect but needs to be touched up often as it washes off.

The local automotive paint store fixed me up with a flexible Siekens sp. paint The paint is in a rattle can. Two years and it still looks good.

I used a Duplicolor paint marker made especially for that job.
...worked very well. It's been on two years, no fade at all.
