I have a 10lb. bottle that has been sitting dormant for approx. 8 yrs. it is still over 75% full. I recently went to test some solenoids & when I opened the bottle there was some slight leakage coming right out the top center of the handle around the nut.
Question 1) is there any way to save the no2 in the bottle? Do any dealers buy back unused no2?
Question 2) are there rebuild kits available for bottle valves? This is an older top gun bottle, with a standard flow valve. I would imagine its just an o ring that is leaking.
Thanks-

The valves aren't rebuildable unfortunately....your best bet would be to buy a new valve, see if you can find a nitrous dealer who has a pump and capture the gas, install the new valve, and recharge.

Back seating the valve lot's of time will stop the leak.
