So what is the best way to reach this thing? The bolt on the outside was pretty easy, used the open end of 1/2" wrench and just turned it one flat at a time flipping the wrench over each time. Now the other bolt towards the driver side is kickin' my butt. I'm gonna have to cut my open end wrench in half just to be able to reach the thing. Any advice from someone that has found a better way? Thank you.

A lot of those crank sensor bolts also have a place to use a torx bit on them also. May be able to use an extension with a wobble and torx socket to get it from the top.

Going back out to check, never pulled out the first bolt, just loosened it by feel.

maybe a crows foot on a long extention.

I used a 2x12 to lay across the top of fenders so I could lay on the board to get at the bolts on my 92 RC.

Yellowdustr, thanks for the tip, they do have torx heads also. Much easier to get too. Scratchn, I think I'll be doin that to put the new one back in, pretty sure I punctured a lung layin on top of the motor, lol.

Welp, laid a plank across the fenders, used a 1/4 Allen wrench to remove the crank sensor. Thanks to you two helping it only took about 3 minutes to change. But truck still doesn't start. After all the rain we had is when it quit running, threw a p0138 code so I've since then changed both o2 sensors, cap, rotor, coil, cam sensor and crank sensor, still nothing. Getting good fuel pressure. Was gonna check plugs, and idle air when I get home. Working 12-14 hours a day so not much time to work on it

The 138 is an O2 sensor code, but you already tried those.

Is the ASD relay working? Does the fuel pump prime for a few seconds then shut off?

Any other symptoms? Clear the codes and try again, let us know what codes you get.

Welp, after all that I touched the positive and negative cables together to reset the computer (which I didn't know, I thought having the negative unhooked for longer then 15 minutes did the same thing) and it started right up. Ran like crap for a few minutes, now good as new.

I feel ashamed lol
