I am assuming it is suppose to have colum interlock... but it seems to be missing from my boxes of parts.. I have read they are often removed...? 1st.... what is the funtion and do I need it... Do I need it: That depends on your level of restoration. Most people took them off when the car was relativly new. They are a pain in the butt. 1970 A230 3 speed manual transmissions are easier to deal with then the A833 4 speed reverse. cudaized top fuel Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 2,309 South, FL	I have it installed on both of my manual shift 1970 `cudas. The 3 speed, works as it should. The 4 speed, I have it partially disconnected. I say install it.
