Looking at 360 magnum to 408 stroker. So far I have only found Keith Black KB356 pistons. Are there any other brands out there?

My buddy picked up a project with new heads, crank, rods, but no pistons. We only found the KB pistons and thought there must be someone else making pistons.

BPE sells a reasonably priced forged piston . I would get in touch with him before you pull the trigger. One of the few guys that will tell you weather or not his products are a good option for you or not,and not just sell you something you don't really need. Check with him for a rotating assembly if you haven't bought anything yet. Keith
x2....Just ordered a set for my 408 through Rod at BPE and can't say how pleased I am with the service. Rod is a straight shooter, and won't try to sell you what you don't need...The price for customs exactly how you want with Total Seal rings is better than prices for alot of shelf pistons.

I've used Probe and KB when I put a couple together for guys.
KB is great for NA, just gotta pay attention to your ring gaps, Probe are great for spray or boost

ICON makes 3 different(20.5, 27, & 34 cc) dished pistons specifically for the magnum (1.445 C.H.). They also make a domed, a dished(20.5 cc) and a flat top in the regular LA 1.465 C.H. Just kinda depends on what heads you have and what compression you want. CNC has em pretty reasonable. I'm watching for an LA "roller" or magnum block myself... Jack

No shortage of pistons for this application, so if all you found is KB's (or Icon's) you're not looking very hard. I went with SRP's for mine. They spec'd out as light as anything else and are reasonably priced. Got mine from http://www.cnc-motorsports.com/

I can fix it... my old man is a television repairman. He's got the ultimate set of tools... I can fix it.
Currently Mopar-less

What kind of power can be made by a 408 Magnum with a 600 lift solid flat tappet and a good set of ported heads?
And who has a good porting program for these heads?
1970 Challenger, all aluminum 528 Hemi, HDK suspension, Tremec 5 speed manual
