Team G' isn't the best intake by far, but I think someone would be crazy to say you couldn't make over 500 horsepower from heads that flow 265CFM, 2" headers, big carb, and a pretty healthy solid' camshaft. Compression ratio is over-rated IMO, and you make more power from a conservative CR with the best tuning on the street, than detuning and retarding timing to run on pump fuel with high compression..

My guess depending on minor items could be up tp 525 hp. My old 440 was a close build. It was a .030 over 440 with a stock bottom end and KB pistons. I use 906 heads I ported and the KB pistons were the quench dome pistons as I had 10.0 comp and about .046 quench. MP .557 cam with the Holley Street Dominator intake and the 850 DP. Hedman 1-3/4 headers and 3" exh. Never dynoed but ran a best of 11.49 @ 116 in my 3700 lb 63 Sport Fury which figures to about 500 flywheel hp give or take a few. Sounds like a decent fun build. Good luck , Ron

I had a similar bracket motor, .060 bore with the same pistons and the Mopar 590 grind solid cam, same intake with a Holley 9375 Dominator with no spacer, mildly ported 346 iron heads with stock size valves, it made a best pull of 565 HP at 6100 RPM with less torque than HP, that was with no belt on the water pump, it gained 8 hp by removing the W.P. belt IHTHs

It really depends on the level of port work your Stealth heads have. For comparisonstock Edelbrock heads on a 450 with a 557 cam,Weiand single plane,Holley 950 HP,made 521 horsepower and 511 lbs-ft torque on my dyno. That was with 2" headers. 1 7/8" headers netted 531" lbs-ft and 518 horsepower. I see too many guys go overboard on headers and lose some torque where they can use it to gain a couple horsepower up top and ruin a nice smooth torque curve while they're at it. Keith

Yep... alot of guys try to go for the HP but if its a street car you need all the torque... I'm guessing it will make 510 hp and 490 tq... thats not bad for stuff thats laying around the shop

Nice combo except for the Team G which kills torque below 4000 ( good hp up top but best suited for a really light car with a lot of stall and deep gears) pro parts headers are good design but primaries are about 4" too long. Team G and the standard length pro parts really are mis match, IMHO.
Hp is gonna depend on head flow, 557 can get it done with good .300-.500 flow numbers. I run a ported Street Dominator or a ported Indy Dual Plane on anything up to ~630 horse and a 1000hp 4150 with anything less than about 4200 stall. Since your running a 4500 the M1 single would make more average torque.

any more guy's
Everybody is in the same ball park Your looking at 525 to 550 max.
Proparts headers even though they are 2", they are still rather long and more of a torque header.
What vert do you have? At your new weight 3125# plus driver???, you have a easy 11.?? ride.
With a 4500+ vert and proper gearing a easy 10.?? ride if the driver isnt to ???

I reckon an honest 500 hp. A bit more converter and a sorted chassis, it would go 10.90's, as is low 11's. JMHO Mick
