I've got a set of Airlift bags on my 04 2500 CTD, but need a sway bar. Anyone know if the Helwig bar will interfere with the bags? I hate to buy the thing only to find out it hits the bag perches on the axle tubes.

I dont think the rear sway bar is anywhere near the airbag setup, I have air bags on my '92 everything is mounted to the frame infront of the axle and axle tubes between the pumpkin and leaf springs. I know it's a different beast but same basic setup! Give hellwig a call!

I'm sure it will be fine, but my particular truck has the bags mounted inboard of the leaf's, I believe the earlier Dodges were mounted on the springs themselves, but I could be wrong. Like, I said, I'm sure it will be ok, but wanted to make sure before I order them. I added a pic of the bags....

Humm that could get a little crowded. that's exactly where my sway bar brackets mount where the air bags are, I haven't seen that setup before! Nice!

I found a couple of pics on Amazon where a guy mounted one on his 1500. Looks like the clamps are really close to the center section which is what I need. The 2500 bar looks to be the same one or at least the same shape.

Yours looks to be a 72-93 and visably diff setup.

Looks like you probably don't have enuf space just next to the pumpkin to get those brackets to fit and deal with all those brake lines on both sides, with those brake line mounts etc.? Maybe?

The pics came from a customer that bought the bar that is listed for my truck. So, I can only assume it is the same bar, plus it looks like the one they list for my truck a, Helwig 7651. But I guess to be safe I should give either Airlift or Helwig a call. Here is the bar shown for my truck...

That kit will work just fine. Your bags are located to the right of the lower shock mount.
