Chirs I've always taken them out. Although I've been told it makes no difference. When can I come pick up my Cal-Tracs?

make sure to use the M-400 bearing with snap ring like DrDiff sells.you can leave it in with the M-400 bearing.

remove it if you have the mopar bearings with crimped on retainer. those will pre-load the bearings = failure.

if it has buttons you can remove without a teardown, then I would remove them anyways.
