I just opened it up to inspect it...How does it look to you. I do see a decent amount of metallics in the fluid that I drained, which is 85-140W gear oil.

It is also a Tru-trac unit with 4.30 from Moser. Never any problems with it...just checking it out and new fluid.

Do you see any potential problems. Has about 51 drag strip runs, many hard runs on street, and about 3-4,000 miles street and highway mixed.

Thanks for opinions,
Greg.

Is that a crack in the tooth in the last tooth you can see(about 3/4 of the way between the toe and the heel or is it a hair?) at the bottom of the first picture

Very good eyes, Cab...no that is not a crack. one more hair I lost

I went out into the garage and checked real good with a light, and no crack. just a hair.

The wear pattern does look a little "wide" but maybe not anything to worry about. You will always find some evidence of metal in your gear lube, so long as there are no chunks.
