I got it from Classic Industries. They had them in stock and Year One didn't. It's the same thing, an M&H harness. I thought Year One had exclusive deals with them. Glad to see they don't. I had it plugged in in about 30 minutes. Now if I hadn't dropped that pesky nut...

Put some miles on it last night. It is actually a pretty nice riding car. I think it will even be better once I get all the suspension redone. On the way home I stood on it from a light and hit second, and I tossed the power steering belt which in turn tossed the alternator belt. It got a little warm. But didn't blow out my hillbilly soft plug fix, but I'll be after a narrower power steering belt. I think Shoozy may have the right idea. No power steering =no belt to toss...

The 68-70 ride great and drive pretty decent (for the vintage) with a few refinements. Sorry about your belts, glad it didn't do a serious overheat. Hang some belts and get back out there. And not to be a wise guy but I may still have a manual box that survived both cross country moves. If you're interested I'll start the search.
Old, tired, and sometimes broke down. Me, not my car...

I have a box on the Dart. I'm more concerned about finding a column. Right now, in the list of "needs", it's not high. I will maybe look if I can't get a belt to stay on. Thanks! It's great to pilot a classic ride, though. Even if it is very rough around the edges.

ah...shifting on a hill again( Dad was a truck driver) well she ain't gonna break sitting inthe garage gathering dust. Too bad, but you'll make it better. And now you can swap gears like you've been wanting to do. My first mopar was a '73 340 4 speed road runner. guy I got it from would leave black marks all over his road. Two days after I bought the car,the drive shaft fell off. I called dad for a tow, and to this day I'm sure he thinks I was out hot rodding, which I wasn't.

The Dart has a 489 cased 3.23 pig. Both wheels turn the same direction so it is either a sure grip, Lincoln locker, or a spool... I have honeydo stuff to do first, but I'll get it out today.

I changed plans. I sold the pig out of the Dart. Bought a new yoke, an install kit, and crush sleeve eliminator, new solid u-joints, and it's going together now. This may have been a contributing factor in why things broke.
