I need to remove the windshield top moulding on my '70 convertible. Screws are removed, it doesn't seem to want to budge. Any tips/pictures for damage free removal of these pieces? Manual just says "remove", but not how?

Thanks!

There is some foam tape between the trim & the sheetmetal, the trim rolls off from the windshield side toward the interior but the foam needs to release, in the past I've used a screwdriver in the window channel to pry up enough the the foam will begin to separate.. Just raise it a little & wait, it only takes a few minutes but if you expect it to just lift off it won't...

Mine had black adhesive that oosed from the windshield, Just pull it off slowly, use a putty knife.

That did the trick... I just needed to know what direction and what was holding it. Thanks!
