The Isky RR735 roller in my 528 pushed my 3,000 lb Dart to 8.77, with a poor 1.284 60 ft. Not bad for an older design. It was picked out for me by Radar of R&J in Iowa, the same gentlman that ported my heads back in 2003. I had 1.55 Jesel rockers on it, for .765 intake lift.

I will NEVER buy another Isky product. Many other manufacturers that actually care about customer satisfaction.
I hear you, buddy. I was not going to blast Isky, but someone else started this thread, I am going to tell you my story.
I kept eating lifters in my 580" motor due to the valve spring pressures. I heard a lot about Isky Red Zone lifters, and thought I would give them a try. I called Isky direct, and spoke to Ron the owner. We talked for about 45 min to an hour, discussing the lifters and my problem at length, including which block I had, and my complete set up. He told me needle bearing lifters would not hold up to my spring pressures and I needed his Red Zone Max Lifters. He also recommended modifying them with a oil grove to improve oil to the bushing.
I ordered and paid for the lifters and the modification on the lifters at that time, he told me it would be about a month.
I checked on progess a couple of times, and I could never get an answer on when they would be ready for me. Finally after about 6 months I spoke to Ron again, and he told me the order had been misplaced and he would get them to me right away. He did, I had them in about 2 weeks.
When I got these lifters in my hands and I saw the 'oil grove', I thought to myself, there is no way these will work. But I also thought, maybe they knew something I did not, so I installed them in the motor, pulled the distributor and spun the oil pump to see what would happen before closing up the motor. Of course, oil shot out of the tops and bottoms of every lifter.
Now the fun began, I called and talked to Ron again. Told him about this problem, there was no way this would work because it would not hold oil pressure. I explained it to him and he said to send photos, which I did. After that, no one would call me.
I left messages over and over for Ron, which he never returned. I finally talked to one of his employees and they told me they made lifters like this all the time, the reason it would not hold pressure on mine, was because it is a street car. Which was something I told them when I originally called and talked to Ron and place my order.
Personally, I don't see how these would work on a race motor or street motor.
Finally, months later, I worked out with one of the employees and was able to exchange the lifters for ones without the oil grove. I am not exaggerating that it was MONTHS. I was required to return the wrong ones first, which made me nervous about getting either my money back or new lifters. But I did it, and they did send replacements.
In my opinion a company that builds nothing but lifters cams and springs should know that these silly groves would not hold oil pressure. I had no problem getting in touch with Ron, until there was a problem, and then he avoided me like the plague.
Here a couple of pics of what they originally sent me. I will NEVER purchase another Isky product again. I have 4 other cars, I am waiting for someone else to make a bushed lifter, because I will not buy from them again.

Another pic, The grove on the bottom hung out of the bottom of the lifter bore and spit oil, and of course, the grove that went all the way to the top spit oil out the top. Wow.

The Isky name has been around for a LONG time and they do manufacture some fine products.I know many people that have had success using thier product. That being said,I will tell my tale of attempting to use thier product. When the RED ZONE lifters came out, they were advertised to have EDM oiling on ALL red zone lifters. This option was the answer I was looking for to be able to use roller lifters in a street car with some decent valve spring pressures for my HEMI.When the $700 red zone lifters arrived,I couldn't wait to inspect them 'cause I was so excited .Well,,,,,,,I opened the box and low and behold, there was no orifice to allow pressurized oil into the lifter body to oil the needle bearings or for pushrod oiling .I called Isky to say"what the HAY!!!" I had been on the phone with "tech" many times before buying these very expensive lifters only to be told AFTER buying them that the MOPAR red zone's DON'T HAVE THAT OPTION I ended up on the phone with Rich, who supposedly owns Iskey. He offered to rebuild my NEW lifters and drill the orifice that should have been there in the 1st place for an additional $150 I told him he should do it for the cost of shipping in the interest of customer satisfaction and his reply,,,,,,,,,,,,,SEND MY S@#T BACK TO ME AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK Well,I figured if I have to pay for the option that I would use them for the season and then send them back to be rebuilt and drilled. When I dropped them into the block for mock up,the link hit the extra thick lifter boss in the mega block and the roller couldn't even touch the cam I sent them back and bought Comp 848 lifters with thier cam and valve springs Almost forgot,Isky talked me into sending my damaged cam to them so they could fix it.They could not fix it and wanted me to pay to have it shipped back.I told them where to insert that cam
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!
