I gave $345.00 plus shipping for mine from Driveshaft Specialists in Texas,, so it don't seem out of line to me., and I supplied the yoke.

I just had a 3.5" shaft made for my diesel pickup....$550 with slider, ujoints. To lengthen the front shaft and build the new rear one was $650. Thats after he cut me some deals on parts, and ate some shipping.
I was going to have $1200 in a new front and rear shafts, so I think your doing ok.

I sell balanced 3" cr-mo driveshafts with Spicer 1350 U-joints and slip yoke installed for $350 delivered. Add $70 for forged steel pinion yoke (U-bolts included).
Thats a good price.
My Mark Williams 3.5" cr-mo, with 1350 U-Joints and trans yoke was $700.

Carolina driveline in Spartanburg or Driveshaft shop in Salisbury. I thought you said you were around charlotte in another thread both these are both semi local and do great work.
One day I will have something cool here.
