I thought they were as cool as a wheel could get when I ran them back in the 70's..... they were the "hot" wheels back then. Of course, things change over time. I wouldn't have them now unless I was trying to build a period-correct car. They would certainly pull you back in time.

I've never seen them on anything with drum brakes before though.

Yes. I too am an old dinosaur.

Love my SuperTricks, but you will most likely need disc's all they way around unless you get the proper offset.

I've always thought they were really cool but then I like old-school stuff. I'd love to run some on the front of my Satellite but heard they weren't safe to run on the street?

4 wheel drums on this. Pic of a buddy's 6bbl car from back in the day. Yup he still has the car, steelies back on it. But he still has the tricks and Firestone 500's

They aluminum like centerlines or the steel version? I always liked Centerlines but there are better choices now.

We have used them with drum brake cars, and I have a set on the front of my Demon (they are for sale) that were originally on a Chevrolet with drum brakes.

I don't know of any Mopar that has 13" drum brakes unless you are talking about the overall diameter at the backing plate area, but they should still fit.

I've been running them since the mid seventies. They are incredibly light.

As a side, I ran them with drum brakes all around for many, many years. I only went with front discs a couple of years ago, and still have drums on the back.

For the amount those things are going for I'm thinking about cleaning up the set I have and selling them.

So the 15 x 10 Centerlines that I bought in 1979 (still in the bags in the boxes, never mounted) are worth some good money? I have the 15 x 5.5 for the front, same deal.

I ran the 3.5" Cragar SuperTricks front runners on a drum brake 69 RR for 6-7 years of fairweather street driving.

Wish I still had them. Sold them when I went to Centerline Satin AutoDrags.

Still dig the 70's era street/strip look!

I ran my super tricks on the street for many years, they have been on 4 different cars, I like the way they look, have them on front and back now, disc, front drum back with no fitment problems, Now I do have a problem with my bead locks not fitting because the drum is 13 3/8" out side diameter . I/8" to big, nothing that can't be turned down.

The differences between race Super Tricks & Centerlines are several and obvious:
Tricks have a fine finish, a "warm" color, and are bolted together.
Centerlines have a rougher spun finish, more of a silver-blue color, and are riveted together. Basically a more "budget" version of the Tricks, and always less spendy.

The race Tricks were designated for race use only, not for highway use. Personally, I would not run them on the street, the side load is not very good, they bend easily. They did make a street version, though. The first ones were anodized, they did make a polished version. The Centerlines were approved for Street use, but were not quite as light.

I have a set of Tricks in my shop that a buddy of mine bought new in '78 for his Stage 1 GS. They were on my Buick for a while, and are now on my cousin's GS.

Just came back from the track , they had a swap meet along with a race. A guy had and sold a set of 15 x 12 - 4 1/2 back space dual bolt pattern super tricks. He was asking 150. Sold for 75. bucks. WOW!!! I could hardly control myself but vowed not to buy anything I didn't need. Still kicking my butt on that deal. Another guy had a set of the centerlines, same size ,single chevy bolt pattern for 100. also sold.
