I have been cleaning out my one house and when I was stacking all the non six pack lids, I happened to notice that one has a somewhat wide lip on it. Now I know about the fiberglass hood six pack cars having one (as a matter of fact, I have a chrome fat lip on my lift off bee), but I never saw one for a single 4/2-4 set up? So what do I have? I will have to take a pic because I wasn't looking to photograph stuff, just move it from one place to another. By the way, it isn't as wide as my lift-off car, but definitely has a stepped flange on it.

Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

If it is the way you describe it with a lip, it is for the Hemi TA air cleaner...but the lip should be as wide as your 6 pak one.
Either together or separate, they are as rare as they get.
You may have a winner there
A picture here will provide the evidence needed

I guess anything is possible. It did come with a hemi air cleaner I purchased in the early 90s. The base is just a standard fresh air base

I will post them as soon as I can. My one house was broken into, and I've been busy getting the rest of my stuff out of there before one of the natives do it for me. Been running out of places to stick stuff. I even stumbled across an NOS door shell for a 69-70 b-body that I don't remember buying. After the dust settles, I will have to post pics of some of the NOS parts I had laying around that place...it even boggles my mind

E-body Hemi shaker or not, used the regular lid without the lip as did 6 pack.
I believe the 45% angled wider lip was to assist in water run-off from direct opening hoods.
In the case of a shaker you had the doors to close to keep rain out and the bulge hood would not have that problem.
