I know this is the least of our problems but I am always looking for ways of helping et! I am thinking about either taking off the front and rear bumper or making fiber glass ones! I hear filling in the grill helps too! Heck are grill would fly out if the electric fan wasn't so tight up agianst it reinforcing it lol. Our 1963 plymouth valiant has the original air pan or front spoiler what ever you want to call it but it got smashed up bad when we had alittle accident putting it on the trailer.. So I would like to make something to replace that and make that area better! I was thinking about possibly trying a different hood scoop since the old snorkle is pretty beat up. Any suggestions? Cowl hood or pro stock syle hood scoop? I also heard of those air pan things that go under the car and cover the entire under neath of the engine capartment and help move air along but they look expensive..

i removed my grill & replaced it with a flat panel with a pic of a '08 challenger grill & also removed my 6 pak scoop in favor of a cowl. gained mph doing this but then the rear was getting loose at the top end. so a homemade wing off the back with a piano hinge to allow adjustment & we have now gained 4 mph average 0.15 et & thats only from making my brick a little more slippery.

the lower air damn/spoiler was robbed off a Ford & cut down to fit the Dart.

That's Awesome Rebel! Deffiently some dedication in getting a few more mph but looks like it was well worth it!

Painting the under chassis with high gloss paint can make it rather slippery under there. I've also made small air dams at junctions where the chassis is a boxed wall of turbulence.

An underpan can be duzsed in place, .032 aluminum works just fine. Side skirts are a good idea also.
