Keep the ECU that came with the engine and buy an aftermarket harness and be happy.

Theses guy have aftermarket harnesses for the Gen III hemi. http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/61lhemi.asp

I am in the process of putting a 5.7 Hemi in my 55 Dodge PU and plan on using the Bouchillon Performance harness. I’m using Bouchillon because they are in NC and I’m in East Tennessee. I have heard good things about both companies.

No personal experience, but the Hotwire folks have been at the game for a while.

IMO if I had not done my own harness. these are the people i would be calling about a harness. I think it is tastefully done, and they can offer tech support since they do their own harness.

AEM has an ECU and a wire harness for the Gen III Hemi. Easy to use and fully programmable.

I'm going with Hotwire. More people can tune the factory ecu than any other platform.

Get a Diablo Trinity with a wideband and email tune it without any drama.
