Almost a hundred views, and not even a silly answer? Come on guys, someone has had to at least thought about it. I saw a neon with a 440 in it but it was a real hack job.

Yes it will fit. Bill May had a B1 engine in one with stock towers and a stock firewall. There is a guy on here with a blue one that I am pretty sure has a BB in it.

One day I will have something cool here.

I'm guessing you can make anything fit. However what are your options? Most are FWD platforms so you will have to do some extensive modifications to make it all work. I guess going from a 3.5 Challenger would be a little easier, but probably cheaper and much easier if you just grabbed a junk yard 5.7 hemi.

Anything is doable when it comes to racing If your going to run the car in a NHRA class make sure and buy a rule book and understand what you can do and what you CAN'T do with the car to make the combination work Bob Mazolinni had Hansen race cars put a NHRA legal SB Mopar in his 1996 Sebring, it was very nice and really fast I'm not sure who he bought the motor from, it was a 1976 SS Ram 318 with a Quadrajet carb Good Luck

Im not actually looking at building a legal car. I was using gt as an example for a car with stock shock towers. Who's Stratus is that? Are they a member?

Mazzolini's car is very slick. It might be for sale if you really want it. That car runs low 10's with a smogger 318. Cast crank, Qjet carb, iron heads, etc.
