Workin on the dana and ladder bars, Was running 15x10 and 30x10.5 slicks

It looks close but i might be able to squeeze a 15x12 with the right backspace. Anyone with a dart or valiant got 15x12s in between stock frame rails and Quarters? I'd appreciate any pix.

I had them on the Valiant. Mini tubbed but only a 29.5x10.5

I do but I cheated. I've moved my stock frame rails in 3.75" on each side. And added a strip to the wheel tubs. The Dana was narrowed 1" per side and I use 15x12 with 6.5" BS. Tires are 12x29 GY. I don't have any good pics but would take some if you want. Jim

No pictures handy but I had 29x11x15 slicks on my 69 Dart with the springs moved to the frame rails and stock wheel houses. I did have to hammer a couple of spots out on the wheelhouses and roll the lips on the quarters. I had custom made 15" wheels made and it looked like I could have gone a little bit wider, but 12" wide would have been tight.

I had 29 10.5w on the back but with 456 gears it would nose over just before the stripe, Went to the 30" and gained 2mph but they were true 10.5 and started having traction problems, I'd like to get a 15x11 or 11.5 but dont want to guess.

I had 15x11s made for mine, 29.5x10.5w.

There is 14 inches between the inside of the fender and the outside of the frame rail on my 69 Dart so i run a 29.5x10.5-15 which is a 13.2 sec.

FWIW...since it's an A-body,my car (71 Demon) has 15x12s with a 7" backspace,and I use a 12.25x31.25 Phoenix tire.

if your rear is not cut 15x12 with an 8 inch backspacing and a 13.6 outside width slick is the widest u can go without cuting quarters

My Duster runs 15x12s with 13x31 tires,using a 4" backspace.
Minitubs, springs in with the 3" kit, wheel openings stretched at the bottoms.
Wheels with 6" BS may be easier to come by, if that matters.

Okay, so what did I do wrong? My '69 Dart was mini-tubbed & the best I could get was 15x10 with 4 1/2in BS????

You didn't do anything wrong! The body is way way different! My Dart is like 3" narrower than the Duster!
