08 ram quad cab w/hemi 20inch wheel.. it has goodyear wrangler on it not sure how many miles on them truck new to me! one of my tire got a split in the side wall it about 2 inches at the most and it not very deep.. do these tire have any issues like splits or cap coming off??

I have an 04 with 20's that came from the factory with those junk Wranglers on it.One was a puller...no matter where I put it it caused a pull in one direction or the other. Had odd vibrations after multiple attempts at balance(including road force)Goodyear or the dealer would do nothing.Finally at about 40k one of the POS finally tread separated.Good riddance!! Put some Coopers on it...like a whole new truck!!! Has 70k on it now...still drives fine.

Now I'm waiting for the Goodyear junk on the wife's car to wear out.

WOW!! I don't have any vibration yet... I real concern about the split I'm really thinking it was cut by someone I know! trying to keep from going to jail! I have a slice in my tailight and paint by the tailight.. I think this person slid his handlebar on his bike right there... gf said maybe a shopping cart did at the store..show her how that wasn't possible and how the bike could because I park by a curve in front of my house!
