Goodwin's name comes up every once in awhile here on Moparts but since they have no presence in drag racing most people don't know that they offer a 5" bore space billet block and semi hemi billet head. This a pic of the 650" bullet they had at PRI. I offered my Dakota PST as to put one of their engines in for marketing to the hardcore Mopar drag racing community but they didn't seem too interested. lol

They did member Diablos 650" 99 Hemi. Have not heard how he faired this year but they do seem to have some success in their realm of truck and tractor pulling.

If I were looking for something in that level I would think seriously about using them. He has a good reputation and seems to be easy to deal with. I think he can do a much larger engine.

Sonny's offers the same thing but, I think with a larger price tag.

We Ran one of Goodwin's 5in hemi's last year. Ours is not the billet one in the photo but one of the last Cast prototypes before he went billet.

We had an ok season but for unforeseen reasons we couldn't run for points this year because we missed so many pulls. And when your not running for points it kind of takes part of the fun and excitement out of the sport.

We are very happy with the engine and working with Todd. I would recommend him to anyone.

Hopefully next year we can run for points and really show what the engine can do!

I had a friend looking into one for his T/S car.For a 800+ cid with lots of extras it came in at just over 90k. Very nice stuff. He went the predator route and now wishes he would stuck with the Goodwin stuff.

The motor he had in that car was insane. 477 low deck with Indy-1 heads. Made 1070hp and he spun it to 9500rpm.
