I moved my rear axle six inches forward, the engine setback is 17 inches, or as a reference the carb center is right at the back of the hood. This worked out to 50/50, and worked OK till the car had the power to go faster than 9.60s. Then it got to be a wheelstand monster. I now have shifted a lot of weight forward, to the tune of 53 percent on the front.
