With the other tread running about "light textured argent" center caps, what is the current best available/usable/durable matte dull aluminum silver color to use for the fronts of the "RALLYE" wheels themselves?

In the past I've been happy with KRYLON's "dull aluminum", but I don't think that is still available or if it would be the same product today.

I've typically used *gasp* the Ford version of the argent paint as

a) the tint is identical
b) the nearest Ford dealer usually stocks it but the Chrysler dealer doesn't.
c) it is/was a few bucks cheaper per spray can

Ford part number is D7AZ19000A which may have superseded to something else, but the parts guy should be able to find it.

Oh
Dan I just painted the wheels on my 70 bee and I went to Advanced auto and bought the stuff they had there. I will have to look at the car but it turned out Nice and looks Good to me. It is actually paint for wheels of this color. I didn't see anything at NAPA that looked the right color.

I used the Mopar brand argent silver spray paint. Went on very nice and very durable. No complaints here.

I also used the silver MOPAR wheel paint, available at the dealer and I think mine came out great.
