572B1 OP super stock 5 Joined: May 2004 Posts: 855 Brisbane Australia	Will 1.740" od valvespring cups fit in b1 originals. They appear to be very close to the centre and outer head stud washers. The cups were supplies by koffels with my valve spring pkg and they advertise they can be machined to 1.750". any help would be appreciated. Rob

The springs are 1.550" but the cup they sit in has a od of 1.740". It sounds like most people are using locators under there springs.

The springs are K 1100S.

Spring pressure is 1100 open and we use titanium valves, heads look as good as new till. About 100 passes on fresh motor now. "I am not ashamed to confess I am ignorant of what I do not know."
