I have been running OEM 3.89 gears for hundreds of passes . 3345 lbs trans break Spool 35 spline axles. aluminum strange center section launch on first stage nitrous 1.36 60 ft 8.95 at 157mph

Street Gear.. 3000# Barracuda.. leaving @ 5800-6200 with a P/G and a brake.. 9.40's to 8.70's (1.23-1.30 60') always a street gear 9" Ford.. No breakage ever. Broke low gear sets before though..
