when they ask about the rpm's r they referring to the shift points r your finish line rpm? ............Thax.

Finish line rpm that you will be turning. Don't put in your max rpm because you will not give yourself room to go faster willout overreving the motor

Thax.Bigtime i have that cal.page in my favorites .? for uall i'm looking to change gears next year.The car has 4.57 in it now.The combo is:514cu in.
heads -1's(no port work)
cam. 693/706
conv. 8"
weight 3350/driver
shifting at 6800/trapping at 71-7200.
Using the cal. above it says that an 4.30 gear .What do uall think?...........Thax

Are you SURE about your trap RPMs .... that is a
SUPER low slippage rate... good is 5% but some get a
little lower
