I spoke to a edelbrock Rep last weekend at the SCSN in vegas and asked when the heads would go on sale.
I was told that they have five sets of heads casted but they have not done any dyno testing yet. The rep said as soon as they are happy with the ports and the power output the heads will go on sale, that should be in two to three months.
He also told me that more people ask him about the victor heads than any other product they sell. He thinks the heads are going to sell very well.
Hope this is not a repost.

I stopped there and asked the same thing! Guy basically told me that they had gotten shoved aside for other projects and they were also behind now as they want to offer the head in different CNC configurations. Hoping they still come out with the W5 exhaust pattern as it would increase my market for selling my W5 TTI headers.

Victor Small-Block Chrysler (For LA Engines)
These new Victor Series cylinder heads are for use on 1967-1989, 318-360 c.i. Chrysler LA engines. They feature fully CNC ported 58cc combustion chambers and have an intake port volume of 225cc. These heads are an in-line valve design incorporating a 16° valve angle (stock is 18°) for improved air flow and increased power levels over heavily ported stock versions. They also feature the Chrysler W5 bolt pattern and have raised exhaust ports. The intake port has also been raised approximately 3/4" and the flange has also been extended to accommodate a stock (race) intake manifold such as our Super Victor #2815. Finally, a 5.56" overall length valve (+0.600" from stock) and raised rocker cover permit larger port cross-sections than in the stock head. Four versions are available; bare, bare with valves, complete (for hydraulic/flat tappet cams and solid roller cams) and Pro Port Raw. End-seal spacers are provided.

Combustion chamber volume 58cc
Intake runner volume 225cc
Exhaust runner volume 62cc
Intake valve diameter 2.15"
Exhaust valve diameter 1.60"
Valve stem diameter 11/32"
Valve guides Manganese bronze
Deck thickness 5/8"
Valve spring diameter 1.55"
Valve spring maximum lift .650"
Rocker stud N/A
Guideplate N/A
Pushrod diameter 5/16"
Valve angle 16°
Exhaust port location Raised
Spark plug fitment 14mm x 3/4 reach, gasket seat
Made In USA

This was from their catalog... they have six different part numbers listed: bare, bare wt valves, complete, solid/hyd roller apps, solid roller apps.

None are available.....yet.

I've sold off nearly all my W5 stuff and was ready to be the guinea pig for these, but it's been a long time since they've said they'd be out so I've chosen another path.

59* w9s are available and will no doubt out perform these imo.
Both need custom rockers and headers and imo be extremely close in price.
The 59* w9 can literally bolt on and be bada##,so why not go this route ?
And Edelbrock I support but a better head imo already exist w the 59* w9.

Once upon a time..... They said W5 headers would work, and it sounded promising that our W5 valve train would work also. Make some plates to run our existing intakes and away we would have gone... at a substantial savings over where I'm at today
