I want to use my stock clutch pedal if at all possible. Anyone? Do's and Dont's? Any pedal pressure/ratio problems? Pictures are welcome. Thanks.

do the keisler kits use a stock pedal? I'm sure it can be done, you'll just have to be creative. the stock pedal has a stud that the clutch rod attaches to, right? just like a brake pedal pushrod? so does the master cylinder of a hydrualic clutch, and all you'll have to do is source/fabricate a bracket to mount the cylinder to the firewall

sorry, I don't have any pictures myself.

this is also true. I had a aftermarket set-up on my big block TKO in the Dakota. But, a cheaper solution would be to just simply use all factory Dakota hydraulics. the master, slave, and plumbing can be had for a little more than $100, and all you have to do is fab a mount for the master, and a mount for the slave, then use your traditional clutch fork/TO bearing. (if you can get a fork that pivots on the far left side of the bell, perfect. otherwise, flip the slave around so that it pushes to the back instead of to the front, and maybe figure out a pedal stop to avoid over stroking if needed)

If I knew 5 years ago, what I know now, I would have saved myself several hundred bucks.

I'm doing a T-56 swap now, and will be using a Dakota master cylinder and the stock Viper slave/TO bearing. again, just over $100 for everything new (or in my case, free, because my truck already has a master, and the T-56 came with the viper TO/slave still bolted to it)

This is my 1969 Dart GTS, I didn't put the system on it, so no details other than the guy I sold it to told me that he had bought the kit from Keisler for around $500.00, I think. He is deceaced now so I can't call him to make sure The stock pedal operates the cylinder mounted below the plastic reservior and the slave cylinder is mounted on the input shaft It works well Oops, I forgot to attach the picture

Thanks for the input. I am using a Doug Nash 5 speed. I already have the hyd throwout, and using the stock pedal assembly will save some $$.
