Their real good people. true mopar men stuck with Mopar even when Mopar would did not back them much. Funny all the ones that got backing quickly went Chevy when the funds dried up! I love men with the courage of their convictions! Congratulations to the whole team!

An unreal appreciation for the team and family Also such commitment for never giving up and staying the course over all those years. Very well deserved championship for AJ, his dad and the whole crew and lets hope they can do this again sometime!! Very moving speech for sure and really nice to see someone with real feelings and not afraid to show them. Thanks AJ to you and the team and family for bringing a Championship back to the Mopar team. You have made us all very proud Russ

That speech rivaled Mel Gibson's in Braveheart. What an emotional tribute to hard work and dedication, while pumping us up for next year. Congrats' A.J.

Allen is the real deal. Our goverment should watch that speach, and learn about the values of good hard working families that believe in God, work their azzes off to ful fill a dream, recognize the way they got there, and wear their hearts on their sleeves, and can show sincere emotion, and credit the friends that are true and genuine. They never asked much of anyone. They just worked harder and never gave up. Congrats to a true American racer and Mopar believer, who fought thru all the odds to fulfill a dream. Allen Johnson for President 2016....

Watched it yesterday. Very well done. It is nice to see people who work hard and are rewarded for their dedication and persistence. Nice job Allen and Roy, hope you guys defend your title next year with the same enthusiasm and drive.

I have watched it twice. I was impressed with AJ's speech. I didn't think he would be that good of speaker from seeing his interviews on TV. Maybe in his interviews, he was kind of careful of what he was going to say, not wanting to make any waves in the P/S pool. At the awards banquet, it was obviously from the HEART, and he meant every word he said. He didn't need any notes to remind him of what he was going to say, it was all from his HEART. My wife cried like a baby watching it. She has always liked their Southern, humble, polite behavior(for lack of a better word right now). It is wonderful to see a family that is that close and respectful of each other and the people that help and work with them. It will be awhile before another more deserving or appreciative champ is crowned. J&J Racing you are the NHRA Pro Stock Champion.

Not to take anything away from the meaning or the emotion, but the speech was written in advance and he was reading on the teleprompter. Being a poor public speaker myself, I have no problem with that at all though.
