gotta get a set of lifters for my street/strip carand was wondering if any body has any good or bad to say about the rhoads lifter...this is a low deck 400,stock crank ,rods,and piston...cam is the crane hyd 504/528....are should i just get a set of the reg. hyd. lifters and be done??? will be using a set of the iron adjustable rockers as well.. any help would be great would like to order them this week....also whats the best place to get a set of the thin head gaskets??? not sure i will be using them right now til i check things out but if i can thats what i will use to help on the compression side.. thanks mike

The standard Rhoads lifters are for street wimps that want high vacume at idle for power brakes, the Rhoad lifters bleed down at low RPM making the valves open slower and less than a stock hydraulic or a anti pump up HiPo will on the same cam, don't use them if you want max perforamnce from the cam If you do you will be sorry
