That sounds great, music to our ears. Wait till you put the hammer down and hang on.

Which B1 heads did you go with on the new build. Looks great and sounds even better?

B1 Originals... ported by Jeff @ Modern..

What was the total CFM after all the port work?

The cnc program Jeff used, I think he claims something like 415 @ .700, I've had them on two other benches and they read in at 425 and 445... So my answer is somewhere over 400 cfm

That's "400 and sumptin" for our southern friends...

Be in Vegas Wednesday..... you need a ride from the airport?

I am officially not going to make the SCSN race.. Myself, my son and several friends have busted butt these last few weeks trying to get the car ready, but this last weekend was the final nail..

The trans is not pumping fluid around, so it will be dropped off at the trans shop today to see what happened during its rebuild..

This still leaves Thanksgiving race as a possibility... We'll either head into Vegas for their 4 days of racing.. or we'll stay home and hit the 1 day race at our local track... Still keeping all options open..

Sounds great! On your first day to the track YOU better wear a diaper. If it runs as good as it should you are going to soil your new driving suit! Good luck with it Don. Hopefully see ya at the track on the 25th.

After hearing and watching that video there is no way I will have those nasty old Indy 440-1 heads on my 572 when the I get the Daytona running again. The B1's will be coming off the shelf.

1970 Duster
Edelbrock headed 408
5.984@112.52
422 Indy headed small block
5.982@112.56 mph
9.42@138.27

Livin and lovin life one day at a time
