Can anyone tell me for what engines and years Chrysler used the 7 bladed fan with the thermostat clutch? Would it be correct for a 70 Challenger 440? Thanks.

'70 440 4bbl cars with a/c used the thermostatic clutch (26" radiator)
'70 440 4bbl cars with axle packages used the viscous clutch (26" radiator)
'70 440 4bbl cars with a/c & the 3.55 axle package used the thermostatic clutch (26" radiator)

'70 440 4bbl cars without a/c or axle packages used a 1.60" lg. solid spacer & 7-blade fan (22" radiator)

* non-Superbirds

I don't understand your note about the Superbird application.

Superbirds did not use the clutch fans...only direct drive/spacer.

Dave,
Early production had the 070 clutch and 216 fan.
