Who sells a ProGear for a Dana 60 ratio is 4.30?

Are Precision Gears any good?

As far as I know, there is only one manufacturer of those gears. Other companies may sell them. I bought mine from Strange Engineering and they were manufactured by US Gear, with both Strange and US Gear on the box.

Due to low demand, they make a batch and don't run another for many months. So there are times nobody has them in stock and can't get them for months.

IMO, Strange is the place to order them. But sometimes you can find a store with them in stock, left over from the last batch.

The best I know the PRO gears fit the 5 series carrier, RP05997430
the street gears fit the 3 series carrier, RS05897430
I believe both are manufactured by US Gear.

Do you need 4.30's? would 4.10's work for you? Richmond makes a 4.10 pro-gear

Any information on these sets?
This might work but not sure if they are strong enough for violent stsrting line launches.Leaving at 4500 on a transbrake is rough on drivelines.

Here is the Strange Box with the US Gear full size symbol. I think the stamping on the gear has the outer shape, but just a "G" in the center.

There must be a reason for the gears to be $75.00 cheaper than the Richmond gear pricing on ProGear sets.$275.00 compared to $350.00 for Richmond gear sets.
Another question is do I need the complete installation kit for $129.00 or the less expensive kit for $29.00 for a gear swap.

When I tore up my Dana 4.56's back in '10 I wanted a 4.30 pro gear as well, could not find it. Went to the 4.10 and could not be happier, the car had a fairly consistent 1.23 60' with the 4.56's but now with the 4.10 I am at 1.28 range and the car prints 60' times like a zerox machine! Did not loose ant ET either as it picked it up with a bit more mph as to be expected, also dropped the rpm down as well.

Summit racing has the Dana 60 4.30 pro gears in Motive Gear. Motive gears are awesome and made in Italy. They set up real nice and they are top quality.FYI Motive gear bought out Richmond awhile back as Richmond gears quality fell off the last couple years( lots of defective gears) and they were going broke. Motive is in the process of correcting the problems with the Richmond gears and will start to sell them soon.
