Anyone able to post up a few pictures of the correct non A/C heater box bolt (or setup) that attaches the front of the heater box to the underside of the dash?

Couple pix with a scale would be perfect, or if anyone knows where to purchase one that would be helpful too.

Mine wasnt there when I removed the heater box from my current project (1970Cuda if it makes a diff)

Appreciate the help

studs go through the firewall and only a strap from the cowl to the heater box on the inside. it is a hook on the passenger side and screwed to the box.

OK, so a "C" strap with a thread on the end for a bolt

If I can get a picture with a ref scale maybe I can just make one?

I don't have a better pic at the moment but the part has three bends. The base that interfaces at box is flat with a threaded hole to accept a bolt with captivated washer. Washer should be as big as space on box will allow to spread load. There is a bend at base, one mid way up and another at top which makes up the hook that captures the cowl vent opening.

is this the bracket? I copied this pic from an auction - I lost - but this way I would know what to look for - only one I've seen...

Thanks to all, was beggining to think I was going to turn up empty pockets on this request.

I think I can just scale it and make one based on the picture.

Thanks for posting up that picture, based on it and what I know of the box dimensions I was able to scale and ratio the photo to make a bracket, all I need now is the bolt and washer (scaled and ratioed too)

This baby will work like a champ ! ! !

When I'm finished if you see my car, dont blow the whistle that its not MOPAR original !

The bolts I have here are:

- black phosphate finish
- 1" long
- 5/16" recessed hex head bolt with 'C' marked on the bolt head
- 9/16" captive washer, free-spinning

Probably 10-24 thread but I haven't double-checked
