I was wondering the same thing. I use a BG 280. It's extremely loud. Anyone using a new Holley billet pump?

So do I, but I have to ask: "Quiet" compared to what?

LMAO I'm kinda in the same boat. I can't hear my A1000 pump over the 4" single chamber flowmasters.

I've always heard people say the Mallory pumps are quiet.

my stereo funny thing is, you can only hear the stereo if you have ear plugs in. if you have ear plugs in you can't hear the sirens from the cop behind you

if i was building a street car i would get one of the aeromotive fuel cells that has the pump inside. looks like a real cool product.

I already have a 16 gallon aluminum fuel cell, but I suppose with a little ingenuity maybe I could stuff a pump in it?

FWIW Dwayne went 11.18 @ 123 weighing 3550lbs. this was with a stock fuel system connected to a carter HV mechanical pump

personally i think people really go overboard with fuel systems

I run a mechanical pump, Carter 3 piece Hemi, that was modified by me to put out 8 psi. I copied an old Nascar round track pump my friend had and modified the Hemi 3 piece pump internally to match it. I do have twin Holley electric pumps in back with a switch for when I go to the track. But there has been very little difference so far in them being turned on or off. I would probably not bother with the electric pumps on my next build.

5.7 Gen III hemi, no pump on it. Am building it into 380 inch stroker. I agree, most over do it. All this car will need would be the equal to a holley blue, without the potential failure and noise. I have a rather large box full of Holley blue pumps in pieces. Some leak, one of them the magnets came loose, and other troubles.

Then my mechanical pump will not work for you. I would probably go with one of the in-tank pumps for quiet (stealth) mode. Would like to follow the build on your Gen III Hemi, so keep us posted. I have been seriously thinking about one for my Challenger.

Why not run twin GSL392's in parallel? That will support 1000hp.
