Indy is shaping up to be last weekend in June
Well I hate to hear that.....
not me,,,maybe I will actually get to make it to that one since it's not back to back with Norwalk.

Josh, this sucks. I've never seen someone work so hard to start a series and get screwed by half the tracks you planned to race at...where the series had run in one form or another for years at both locations! As there are many fish in the sea there are many drag strips in the Midwest. I know the discussion has happened elsewhere on this forum but I do believe Pittsburgh or Quaker City in northeast Ohio are both worth a look! Good luck, don't get discouraged, and thanks for the work you've put in already!

WELL ain't that just great! Then why not look at Bowling Green or Bristol around the same time frame as St Louis was supposed to have been. And book Pitt instead of Columbus in their time slot.

Never been there but heard good things about Stanton's Mid Michigan Motorplex too
Stanton is super nice, at least it was 10 years ago when I was there. Too far north though, especially with Norwalk and Indy.

I like 131. Didn't know Stanton was going downhill, then again, I've never been there.
I'd rather race at 131 than Mid-Mich... 131 is just nicer all the way around... plus 131 is IHRA... Mid-Mich is NHRA

It just amazes me how nobody is willing to drive to a race. Everybody that pops up and says have a race here,it seems 9 times out of 10 to be the state they live in.
One day I will have something cool here.

What some of you guys don't understand is some of us race ever weekend not 3 or 4 times a year at Mopar only events.
I think it is great some of you are able to race every weekend. I would love to be able to afford to do that. But my reality is I'm only able to go a few times a year. And I live less than 20 miles from the track.

A lot of it is because of the higher cost's of traveling than before, plus I think some are promoting their home tracks also, hoping to help them and also the local economy,,OK here's mine, Pacemakers, nice local 1/8th mile track here in the center of Ohio and 1.5 miles from my house,,,,may the begin.

I think there needs to be a race at Rockingham. And it has absolutely nothing to do with it being my home track and it being close to me. LOL You guys crack me up.
Norwalk and Milan are a lot closer to me than 131, heck, Milan is 20 minutes from me but I didn't say a word about it.
I suggested 131 because it IS a nice track and Chrysler Classic events have been held there in the past AND I can personally vouch for how nice it is. Seems most out-of-staters have no idea how big Michigan really is.

I went to Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis just last month to Josh's event. Almost a 5 hour drive each way. So it's not like I don't go anywhere.
It is the same distance for me to go to Indianapolis as it is for me to go to Northern Michigan Dragway, which is in Michigan. LOL.

The track there at Rockingham has "Mopars at The Rock", in April for the Mopar crowd, and it is only a one day show.

Why yes I did, don't know what went wrong but it sure seemed funny that the lights didn't seem to work like the crosstalk was on,and all I ever heard before was "we can't turn crosstalk off", I think they found out how that day.
