Okay, we've all seen these things in the magazine adds and I have to say I am curious if these are worth it. I have a few questions...

1. Are these things of any quality? Are these seats a good addition to a modified musclecar or are they just cheesy Chinese-made Recaro knockoffs.

2. If you have these, can they be installed on stock E-Body seat rails?

3. If installed in an E-Body, are there any interference issues with the center console or anything else in the passenger compartment.

4. This relates to the first question, Good crash rating or not.

I've been thinking on dropping the $500 bucks so I can put my stock seats in storage but I don't want to throw away money on something that's just not worth it, especially these days.

Thanks!

I got the seats for my Demon from Jegs for under $400 total, with shipping. I think they were a great value for the money.Had some orange inserts thrown in them for that "haloween" interior look .

Very nice!

Looks like from the photo you have the Slap Stik as well.

Any interference problems with the center console?

I take it you are using the stock seat sliders too?

Seat sliders come with the seats when you buy them. Yes I put an E-body slap stick in my Demon. Im going to custom fab a console.

With the Challenger, one seat slider is taller than the other due to the shape of the floor. I take it the seats come as a kit with spacers or am I going to have to fabricate something?

The sliders are designed to sit on a flat surface, you will need to shim or fab something to get the offset.

Great. That's what I needed to know.

Thank you.

If anyone has these in an E-body with the center console in place, let me know.
